The final bell goes off, announcing the end of the day with which my first day as a faculty at The Starkids Academy concludes. Although it hasn't ended the way I'd envisioned it, it wasn't intolerable either except for some surprise bumps with the people I've slept with. (We can afford to exclude it, can't we?')
I have been trying hard to forget it. It is just becoming impossibly hard. The more I try to forget it, the stronger it seems to engrave in my memory—as if my stupid mind has taken an oath to avenge. Please, brain, can we grow up?
