I love surprises. I love the suspense it brings along. The anticipation, blood pumping in my veins, it all makes me feel alive. I think the same goes for everyone. I have hardly come across anyone who despises surprises. Surprises in general are delightful and pleasing. It shows how people care for us bothering preparing everything.
Sometimes, the feelings are satisfactorily conveyed. Other times, it comes out as a shock.
Skanda's confession came out as a shock more than a surprise. Her pretty face, the lowered lashes, the quivering lips: it all makes me want to lose my sanity and engulf her in my arms right then and there and never let her go.
