Luci heard her mother’s voice through the pack-wide mind-link and her eyes widened at hearing the words she spoke; at the way she spoke to everyone. A shiver of fear ran down her own spine, at the cold and emotionless tone of her mother’s voice.
She had expected her mother to blow a gasket, but then to just come in here and tell her she was not moving out. Stop her from packing and move herself into Luci’s suite for a few days, a week maybe, to stop her from leaving. She did not expect her mother to publicly shame her own Mate.
