I hang up the phone and look towards Abby where she sits on the sofa opposite me, her brown eyes wide and questioning.
“Well?” she asks with concern.
“The woman is going to live. Turns out she’s a maid in the hotel. Art got her into the hands of the doctors as soon as they arrived.”
Her shoulders slump slightly in relief as she leans back, tugging the blanket around her more securely.
“Good… are the rest of the cleanup crew here? I assume they will need help with the bodies. I’ll just get cleaned up and-“
