"Yeah, I ran out of the house as fast as I could after the first 'Yes Thomas'. I do not need to be scared for life, thank you very much." Lucy casually tells me despite her nose scrunching up in mock disgust and a shudder grazes her body. I'm sure the reaction has nothing to do with the very stiff drink she's having right now, but everything to do with me and her brother being together, intimately. My cheeks colour pink at the memory of that, and my heart swells in new found happiness.
