Chapter 45 - The Intended Purpose
Emily's POV
"Em, what the hell is happening? Where are we going?" Lucy warily whispers in my ear as soon as Thomas closes the car door after us. She groans and stretches dramatically in her seat, nearly slapping my face in the process. We are still in serious need of a girl talk regarding her and Franco, but I'll leave it until we are both clear from any traces of hangover and until we figure out what Thomas wants to show the family in such short notice. As curious as I might be, I feel like Thomas was spot on when he said today was 'information overload'. I don't think my brain can process any more bombs dropped.
