Drake opened his eyes in the middle of the night to find that Edward was not laying beside him. He looked around and realized that Edward was not in the bedroom. Drake got up from the bed and went to check in the bathroom but he was not in there either. It was strange. Edward never disappeared like this. Continuing to search for Edward, Drake left the bedroom and found Edward in the living room talking to someone on the phone.
“Tell dad that I’m not coming to visit anytime soon. I’ll come when I feel like it. In a few days or maybe in a week, Ryan is getting married. We’ve to prepare for his wedding. I’m his best friend so how can I abandon him at a time like this. He has a lot on his plate now with Emma and baby to take care of.” Edward told the person on the other end of the phone call.
