Cold wind blew across the open lands we stood at, making me shudder as I wrapped my hands across my chest, hugging myself tighter over the long coat I was wearing. "Out of all good places in L.A., why have we come here?" I whined quietly, "It's cold." "It's pretty." Caleb reasoned sheepishly, and I huffed looking around. Okay, I have to give him that. It was pretty. It was a clearing full of small grasses and little flowers, and trees in the distance. Even the sky was in a blush pink evening colour, and there was just enough sunlight remaining after the set sun to balance out the cold... but my teeth still clattered. "But why are we here?" I asked again. When he's told me he wanted to go out and around L.A. and had a place where he wanted to take me, this was the last place I expected.
