It was twenty two minutes and a little around thirty seconds more when Daisy walked in to the police station. My breath hitched when I saw her. She was so confident. So poised. So collected and calm from outside even though I knew she was going to burst as a volcano from inside. Looking at my fiancée in her denim jeans and a black t-shirt, her phone in her hand and her hair lose behind her shoulders, I could only notice how stunning she was. Sometimes, I am in utter disbelief of how this girl was all mine. I had to remind myself that now was not the time to think all of this. Truth is, I was terrified of how she walked in with her eyes at the police officer on the front desk. Not once did they flicker from there. Not once did she look my way. I'm sure she knew that were here behind bars
