“A half an hour or so, give or take” he answered while finishing his whiskey. “I’m sure everything’s fine. She probably went to give the amulets to Eka and Suke.” He sounded like he was trying to convince himself as much as he was me.
“First Colton teaches my son to blow raspberries all the time and then he lets my dog out of the yard” I tried to find the humor in all of it.
“You think it was Colton?” Danny looked around like he was expecting to see him.
“It had to have been, Raffa was pacing the living room with me when he took off like a bat out of hell. He was already through the gates and gone by the time I got outside.”
