“Beloved, you look so sad. You’re breaking my heart” I wrapped my arms around her when I walked into her closet.
“I know, I just hate it here without the boys” she turned around and leaned into my embrace.
“So do I but I’d rather them be safe and sound while we handle our business. It’s only for tonight, we’ll be back with them before breakfast. Besides, we need to deal with this clown before the baby’s birthday.” She didn’t respond she just stayed where she was. I knew the sooner I got her out of the house the better off she’d be. “What are you gonna wear?” I whispered to her.
