“Remi! Just the witch I was looking for!” I opened the thick steel door of her cell. She cowered in the corner when I did. “Relax, I’m not here to hurt you. How would you like to play let’s make a deal?”
“I… don’t understand” she said without looking up at me.
“Rowan was here earlier today, and he popped his head in to see Scarlett. I told him he was wasting his time but to my surprise she spilled her guts to him and in the process some rather interesting things came to light.”
“I’m not surprised, her obsession with him knows no end. What’s that got to do with me?”
