I knew whatever it was wasn’t good when I walked into Baez’s office and Marie, Grandma, and Mac were there, but I didn’t think it would be as crazy as it turned out to be. “So, you’re telling me that my mother not only had something to do with great grandpa’s death, but you also think she and Lester were plotting against Marie and my baby?” I was stunned, I looked at Marie, all she could do was cry.
“There’s more” Grandma said.
“Then I need a minute” I ran out of the room and punched the hallway wall.
