“Would JJ like her?” Dylan said behind me.
“Yeah” I smiled when I turned around, “she’d think she was pretty hot too.” Jones was waving bye to me. “Bye? You just got here little dude.” I held out my arms and he happily came to me. Dylan made herself comfortable on one of the chairs in the outdoor sitting room while Jones and I sat in a hanging swing.
“JJ was probably one of the most pivotal, important people in my life” she stared in the distance. “I was a week away from being homeless in my car when she hired me to work at The Hook.”
“Really? I didn’t know that.”
