It was the start of the winter season on Ahmadeus and the nights were longer and cooler, not too dissimilar from Earth. However, high in the darkening night sky shone two very distinctive moons, gazing down at her, making her feel small, insignificant. Kate closed her eyes for a minute, feeling the double moonlight wash over her face. She could consciously appreciate her earlier visions of this beautiful land and sky with two moons.
