She is back

1809 Words

Giovanni - 2 years ago I pull at my sleeves again as I change the way I’m leaning against the car yet another time. This is ridiculous. Taking a deep sigh, I pull out my phone, clicking my tongue as I find a message from Federica on it. I scoff, deleting the text after having read her usual nonsense blabbering and clearing my throat as I straighten myself. Feeling like my tie is suffocating me, I figure that I’m looking like a total loser anyway and strip it off me, opening the first button of my shirt. Throwing my tie into my car, I check my clock again. Maybe it’s better if I wait for her inside. I take a deep breath and start walking but after a few steps, I decide otherwise. Luckily, I haven’t turned around yet as I see Danielle walking out of the airport with a trolley.
