Wrapping my hands around my wife, I help her stabilize on her feet as she holds her head. “Oh.”

She nods, making my heart squeeze as I’m not convinced as her face seems so pale. “Yes, all good.”
“Bullshit, Danielle. You have been feeling unwell for days. We are going to see a doctor right now.”
She groans, pushing herself out of my arms. “Can we please just go see my father? Afterward, we can go.”
