Cliché Offer When my eyes snapped open, I was surrounded by chaos. And chunks of concrete. Unconscious soldiers. At least, I hoped they were just unconscious. Flying sparks. The world lay on its side with me next to it. My head hurt. It had been a while since I felt prolonged pain. Where did my high tolerance run off to? Seems I'd lost it pretty quick.
