UNO was surprised upon entering the cabin. The usual squabble between Uno and Twain cannot be heard.
It was still dark when she left the house earlier. It was her schedule to lead the training with the warriors. She did not bother to wake her mate since Uno slept late in preparation for Twain’s first day in school.
She proceeds to the bathroom when she did not see her mate in the bedroom either.
Winona was having breakfast when Uno entered the cabin. Her mate beamed at her when their eyes met.
“Coffee, baby?”
“Yes, please.”
The tall woman ate the pancakes on her plate the moment she seats on the chair that the alpha vacated.
She placed the mug beside the plate before pulling a chair beside her mate.
“Everything alright?”
Uno nodded. She sipped from the mug before facing the alpha.
