“Mr. Nicholas Durrant. He is one of the board directors in Hicorp Tech.” Jem explains. He shakes his head while looking far away, inserting his hand on his pocket trouser, and then staring at the floor. “Never in my craziest imagination will I stoop so low to the point of using my customer for my benefit.”
Duh! Where have you lived before, Mr. Perfect? Jem is sometimes too naive. I don’t understand how he can be successful in his career. Shaking my head, I ask him, “So, tell me more about Mr. Durrant.”
“I forget precisely, but I think he is 50 or around that. Mr. Durrant is a nice guy and a decent business owner. I feel so bad to take advantage of him.”
