Aspen was all up front every time he went near Piper. It had taken both Eddie and Izzy to contain the boy’s wolf, when Bradley had collected Piper from the plane, but he wasn’t about to let anyone else touch her. If she woke up, it would likely set Harper off into a fury, that wolf had threatened all of them bar Harry now.
She did not like wolves touching her that much, he knew. So, if she woke up it would be him she’d have to deal with. He’d take the hits that would come. In all likelihood, she’d only fight until he let go. She would just want him away from her. As for the others, he wasn’t exactly sure if any of them would be safe.
