I shifted back into my human form once all of the El members were dead and the leaders were in our cells. I felt Bryant retreat in the back of my mind while also taking the demon side of me back with him. I looked to my right to see my mate standing there with an emotionless face. Before I could walk over to him, Gal and Gladys did a quick spell that gave everyone who shifted some shorts. I quickly put those on before making my way over to my mate. I stood right in front of him as I was covered in blood and I didn’t want him to get drenched with it.
“Look at me, mate.” I whispered out.
He snapped his gaze up to me and I could see his normal self coming back to him. “Axel.” He whispered out as I could hear the relief in his voice
