“Did you enjoy your trip, mom?” My son asked me while we broke apart from our hug.
I smiled at him. “I did. It was nice to get out and see the world with the one that I love.” I say while looking over at Henry, my mate. I watch as a huge smile crosses his face as he sets our bags down.
“Well, you look good.” My son-in-law, Forest, says while walking over to me to give me a hug. I smile as I embrace him, and as soon as we break apart. I hear my two little grandchildren screaming for me.
“GRANDMAAAAAA! GRANDPAAAAAA!” Hazel and Maeve scream out as Hazel attacks me first while Maeve attacks her grandpa. They then switch, to make sure that we both get a hug.
