Natasha always noticed everything. Particularly, she noticed the strange look that passed over the newcomer's face when she mentioned the Stoneridge girl's death.
Even though the new girl quickly schooled her expression into one of neutrality, Natasha's suspicions began to rise immediately. Elena—or so she said her name was—had already been caught in one lie since arriving in Nightshade. Who was to say that she wasn't keeping more secrets?
