Several days passed. Kade didn’t hear anything more about the strange rogue girl who apparently looked like Samantha, although the matter weighed heavily on his mind during that time.
Everything changed when Ajax returned for more information—or rather, a single photograph that made Kade’s stomach drop.
“My insider sent me this,” the Beta said, holding out his phone. “I thought you might want to see it.”
