Mum’s bursting into the office was rude and shocking. He knew what Mum did, and her comments were an insult to the Alpha, and to have done it in front of others made it even worse. The suggestion to check out Mum for mind control was a good idea, though she was never that close to his mother, as she always liked to look powerful, which he found amusing at the time, now seemed disrespectful to Dad.
