I watched Zane close his eyes and talk to his dad. I could feel his sadness oozing off of him and there was little I could do for him at the moment, he needed to work through the death of his Aunty himself, and all the other things that happened.
When he opened his eyes and spoke to me, I wanted to smother him in kisses and tell him all would be well, but I knew that would be a lie, and he deserved so much more than a few lies from me.
‘Let’s go find Peggy.’ He said and we headed out of the room.
