First I could not believe we had two traitors, then when Zeek broke their necks, I wondered if it was over anger at having traitors in his pack or if he was concerned they would reveal his involvement. I had not smelt Gladys on anyone else, so I was hoping it was over anger, but I had been too trusting in the past and found I was now doubting everyone I did not know. I am sure Zane feels the same, as I could feel his anger rolling off of him.
Zeek apologized for his men’s behavior, and he would show us somewhere to stay the night, and tomorrow, once we had all had some sleep, we could discuss what had happened and what we would like to do moving forward.
