Guiding Madison around the dance floor was the easiest thing I have ever done. She molded into me like a glove, we were in sync on the floor, and not once were my toes trod on and for that I was grateful, Madison had her boots on. Dad’s announcements went down well, and the way Madison’s eyes lit up when Graham was announced as the future beta, I swelled up with pride, for having thought of him as my beta. I already liked him and being Madison’s twin just made it feel like the right fit. I had talked to Kyle before I had gone to rescue Madison about Graham, and he agreed that if the Dark River changes all fell apart he would be happy to share the job as a beta, but alas, that never came to pass.
