Zane POV In the cells, seeing Emery already dead and tortured was frustrating. I wanted closure, not being about to question Emery had made that harder. Emery must not be the last person, as we had thought, and I let my guard down, how stupid I was, to assume it was over now and that Emery was the end of it.
