The only way that Steele can ignore Henrik's disgusting words is to make sure his own plan is in place. Easton is everything a good royal should be? A good king? Someone that people can be proud of? It is the biggest joke of the century and the fact that Henrik can say it in such a resolute tone as if he is speaking the truth says so much about Henrik as a person.
Steele is not sure whether Henrik can lie with a straight face because he is just that good at twisting the truth or the people of the genesis pack are so out of touch with reality that they actually believe it.
