Steele looks back at Wren for as long as he can without making it obvious, the minute her beautiful yet lost near empty face is out of sight, he looks at Easton, who is strutting out of the prison like he is a victor in some massive battle. All that shows Steele is that, so far, Wren has managed to one up the man and that thought makes him happy, even with the sadness of leaving her alone. At least the thought of Easton’s loses are enough to restore a sense of calm.
Easton speaks without turning back to look at his body guards. His voice is full of gloating and his smile cannot be suppressed.
"Did you see that men, that b*tch will be under my shoes in no time"
Steele glances at his colleague as the man quickly replies.
"Do you ever think that she will be the queen that you want?"
