Easton looks at the people surrounding the door, the excessive number of guards and his lack of composure is instantly covered. The fine sweat on his forehead is wiped off inconspicuously and the solid timber door between him and Wren makes the world of difference. Even just the other scents in the corridor are drowning out the incredibly pungent aroma that Wren was starting to emit. Her scent is already intoxicating, but now it is irresistible.
