Wren is filled with mixed emotions while it is beyond amazing to see him and it is exactly what she needed in the moment of self doubt. Her mind can conjure up a million reasons for how he got here, but there is only one reason he would be here and that is to save her.
While that fills her heart with so much warmth to think that her friend would actually do this for her, that he would take such a massive risk for her, while she can comfort herself in the fact that nothing has changed there that it was just as she thought, there was no hard feelings.
