Prologue
Angelina, being born a hybrid in an old fashioned purist pack, the Lupine pack has not had it easy growing up. Add to that a curse from her father that she never knew, who was one of the most despicable men in Elysium, has not made her any more popular.
The curse was to prevent her pack from rejecting her, but there are many ways to hurt, upset, and make someone feel unwanted without rejecting them outright. Which is what Angelina has had to face every day of her life that she can remember.
When she finally meets her mate in her pack, he is disgusted that his mate is a hybrid when he has been taught all of his life that they are lesser and you should only mate with your own. Being young and stupid, he rejects her not thinking about what he has been told.
