Later that day, I walk into the office of Sweet Jewels, the agency where Scarlet is born. And as soon as I step into the main office, I hear Jade busily talking on the phone, like always.
"I'm so glad to hear that Mr. Stevens. Here at Sweet Jewels, we do always aim to exceed your expectations," She gives me a wink and motions for me to sit down.
I flop into the chair in front of her desk and smile as I listen to her finishing up the conversation with Mr. Stevens. And I must say, she really does love to lay the charm on thick. As Jade finally hangs up, she lights a cigarette and inhales deeply.
"Scarlet, darling. How are you? How was your big spender last night?" she gushes.
