I waited for Thorne all night, sure he would show up for s*x. His words in the office had hinted as much, so did the phone call I got while I was at the hospital. However, he never showed up.
After two hours of tossing and turning, I finally fell asleep. I figured he would wake me up if he arrived, but when I woke up, the sun was shining through the windows, and I got ready for work.
Thorne not showing up made me realize that I am really on his schedule. He’s going to choose and pick when he comes to see me, and I’ll just have to deal with that like the contract said. I try not to let it bother me as I enter work and make my way to my desk.
