Ivy’s hand falls away and finally releases me from Alpha Thorne’s words. Had he really just said that?
Ivy and Jackson stare, stunned, before turning to me.
“How did you get involved with my brother?” She hisses accusingly, like I snuck my way in and manipulated him somehow. As if I could ever manipulate someone as strong and intelligent as Alpha Thorne is said to be.
“You slept with the Alpha?” Jackson barks angrily, his face pinching in fury. I take a step back, then freeze. This is not my fault. I’ve done nothing wrong here.
I glance at Alpha Thorne then back at the two who hurt me, answering them, “We’re both single, and it was mutual. I didn’t force anyone to do anything.”
