Aurora’s POV
The crowd begins to thin, pack members nodding respectfully as they leave, each carrying their own weight of grief. I stand beside Natala, watching as Savannah exits with Alicia’s children held close—the sight tugs at something deep within me. I’d heard whispers about the crown princess Savannah arriving in Lunaris, but seeing her in person—so grounded and protective over those children—I still can’t shake the feeling that this connection has a hidden depth.
I glance at Natala, who’s equally quiet, her gaze following Savannah as she walks away. “Alicia’s sister,” I murmur, shaking my head. “Who’d have thought?”
Natala lets out a dry chuckle. “Right? Never saw that one coming. Alicia never mentioned a sibling—never even hinted at it.”
