I finish helping the pack members decorate the inside of the castle. Christmas is right around the corner and the women went out to buy gifts. I’m a little on edge because Kiera is close to her due date and I don’t like her being so far away from Xavier and me, but the women assured me that she was going to be okay, yet I can’t help but worry.
“Benny, you’re going to make a hole in the floor”, Xavier chuckles before taking my hand.
“Relax, they should be back soon”, Xavier assures me. It’s three in the afternoon and they have been gone since ten this morning. Just then, the front doors to the castle open and the women walk in with arms full of bags. Duke is carrying Kiera’s bags. I looked at her and she gave me a huge smile.
“Did you buy all that you needed?” Xavier asked.
