(Amira)
"I don't ever want to leave this bath." Kamaris groaned as he dropped the sponge he was using on me and opted for his hands instead.
I laughed softly, my arms wrapping around his neck as I stared at him with a soft smile.
"What time does the tournament start?" I asked while reaching up, brushing a stay lock of hair out of his eyes.
His deep blues were swirling as he looked at me, his gaze settling on my lips as he leaned in, kissing me tenderly.
"In an hour. It's an all-day kind of thing." He muttered against my lips.
"How did this tradition start?" I asked curiously.
"The Charaka have always been warrior-driven. This was a tradition the original members created. To celebrate their strongest members. It is tradition that the person who wins the tournament is considered the most eligible man or woman." He spoke softly, his mouth finding my neck now as he spoke against my skin.
"Like a mating ritual, all of the seveca come to watch. Sometimes they even fight over one person, and the winner gets to claim their prize. Giving them the opportunity to court the desired person for marriage." Kamaris said as he bit my neck gently, licking me as he began sucking my skin.
"So those fighting are wanting to find their future spouse?" I said between gasps as his hands wandered my body gently.
He nodded against me, licking down my collarbone.
"Yes, some but not all. A lot of men try to show off their skills by challenging me or Alden." He said smugly, his teeth dragging against me as he spoke.
"If they can land a single punch then that usually has women lining up at their door." He spoke arrogantly as I couldn't help but roll my eyes. He stopped abruptly, causing me to freeze.
"You don't believe me?" He asked curiously, his teeth sinking into my shoulder as I gasped.
"I believe you." I mumbled, apparently not convincing enough as Kamaris looked up at me. His eyes burning as he spoke.
"I have never lost a fight Amira, you do know who you are mirrored with don't you?" He said playfully before c*****g his eyebrow as I tried so hard not to roll my eyes again.
"Of course my lord, I never should've doubted you." I teased before bending forward and kissing his lips softly.
"Damn right.." He grumbled, his hand sliding down and pinching my ass as I let out a yelp.
I felt his shadows slipping up and down my body as I just stared up at him lovingly..the air changing around us as I slipped my arms around his neck.
"I really am lucky..to have you as my mirror soul..the dark lord is mine, all mine." I claimed, kissing him much deeper as we stayed like that for a more minutes, not wanting to part yet.
His hands reached up, cupping my cheeks gently as he pulled back to look at me.
"I love you Amira." He said with passion, driving the point across as his eyes blazed.
"I love you too Kamaris." I said, sitting up quickly and kissing his lips once more.
Kamaris smiled, letting my face go as he slowly stood. His tall frame towered over me as I looked up at his incredible body.
"We should get ready, we have to eat before we go." He explained as he stepped out of the bath grabbing a towel and wrapping it around his waist.
Next, he grabbed mine and walked over.
His hand reached out as I took it and stepped out of the bath.
He quickly wrapped the large towel around me and chuckled.
"You are so tiny and adorable." He said with a chuckle.
His arms wrapped around me as he pulled me into him, prompting me to rest my head against his chest.
"Come on, let's get you dressed." He said with a wry smile.
Suddenly I felt his magic slipping over me as he stared at me intently. Looking in the mirror that sat on the wall I now wore a tight black sweater that cut across my shoulders and reached down to my thighs with a slit on each side.
There was a leather harness that was strapped in front of me that clasped around my neck and ran between my chest.
Beneath I wore black leather leggings and boots.
I had black leather fingerless gloves that went up to my elbows and my hair was done in a high ponytail with my blue stone earrings hanging from my ears.
I looked like a warrior as if I would be the one fighting in those rings.
I turned, looking towards Kamaris as I now realized why he dressed me in this, because I now matched him perfectly.
Except his was much more masculine and looked as if it were made for him perfectly. His own hair was in a ponytail and I was rendered speechless. I saw his bracelet still on his wrist and my eyes couldn't help but wander his body shamelessly.
Holy s**t he was hot..
"You look incredible." I said breathlessly, his eyes flashing as he stepped towards me.
He reached down, his fingers finding my neck as he help me firmly before bending down Kissing me passionately.
His tongue slipped out as he dragged it against me and then bit me roughly, leaving his mark as he sucked and cleaned me quickly. I swear I felt Arubos slip into my mouth as well, those shadows slipping into my lungs as my body hummed with excitement.
"Now you are ready." Kamaris said with a smirk, pulling away from me as he took my hand.
"Let's go my love." He spoke softly, his hand gripping my waist as he pulled me into him, glancing in the mirror at us one last time.
His eyes burned as he looked at me.
"You are so f*****g sexy." He said roughly, his hand squeezing my curvy hips as he looked down at me, kissing me once more and then pulling me with him.
"We better go before I rip those clothes off of you." He said glancing at me with a wide grin, causing my cheeks to redden as butterflies filled me.
We walked out of the room, my heart fluttering as happiness filled me.
It's still so hard to believe how quickly everything has changed. How a few months ago I was locked away in my own mind. Visited by a man I couldn't even look at without him disappearing...Now here we are, his hand around my waist and our souls meant for each other.
We walked through the hallway and made our way to the kitchen. Nati and Kavi were sitting at the table while Alden was in the kitchen. He looked as if he were cooking.
Surprise filled me from the sight as Kavi's eyes lit up. She waved excitedly as I smiled at her.
Nati glanced between me and Kamaris, her own cheeks reddening as she noted my lip and matching outfit.
"Good morning." I said quickly and Alden turned around with a huge grin on his face.
"Morning, breakfast is almost ready. Marcus and the rest are getting the registrations all squared away." He said glancing towards Kamaris.
"Sit, I will help Alden." He said quickly, pulling a chair out for me as he walked into the kitchen.
I watched him carefully as he looked into the pan and back towards Alden with an eyebrow raised. I couldn't help but smile...could Kamaris cook?
Then my eyes glanced to Nati, who seemed to be studying me intently, leaning forward as she whispered to me.
"I have never seen the dark lord like this..he is so..relaxed." She said nervously, trying to be quiet enough so he wouldn't hear her.
I nodded my head, understanding what she meant.
"It is a little odd isn't it." I whispered back, causing her to giggle.
Suddenly Kavi slid her paper over to me, a new drawing on the page as she looked at me intently.
"What's this?" I asked softly, picking up the paper and looking at it. It was a drawing of a black horse and a man riding on it. I studied the man, his hands gripping the reigns and for a moment I thought it was Alden. The picture wasn't clear but one thing definitely was..the scar that slid down the man's face. This looked just like Dante..
I'm sure she had met Dante before, considering Kamaris and Alden have come here often. I looked up at Kavi and before I could say anything a plate of food was placed in front of me.
"Kavi no more drawing, time to eat." Nati said quickly as I handed the notebook back to her. She looked at her plate excitedly and then towards Alden.
"Thank you, uncle Alden." She said quickly, making my heart melt as I saw the huge grin on his face.
Even Nati seemed to be melting, her eyes watching Alden intently.
"You should be thanking me Kavi, uncle Alden was burning the eggs before I arrived." Kamaris said with a grin as I elbowed him in the ribs. He sure has a big head sometimes..
Kavi laughed before stabbing an egg with her fork and plopping it in her mouth.
"Thank you Alden it looks amazing." I said, glancing at him as he smiled at me warmly.
Kamaris frowned, his hand gripping my thigh as he leaned into me.
"I helped too." He grumbled.
I turned towards him, my hand patting his face gently.
"Good boy." I said softly, to my surprise he began to choke, his cheeks turning red as I quickly grabbed the water and handed it to him.
"Are you okay?" I asked worriedly, watching in confusion as he waved his hand, batting me away as I heard Nati and Alden laughing.
Did I just make Kamaris flustered?
I smirked while studying Kamaris carefully, watching as he drank his water.
"We have the girl's seats all ready for when we go help the groups prepare. Marcus will be sitting with them." Alden interrupted as he lifted a fork full of eggs into his mouth.
Kamaris nodded his head, glancing over at me as his eyes flashed. I continued to eat my food as I glanced at Kavi, something seeming off as she looked down at her journal.
"Are you okay Kavi?" I asked quietly. She looked up, glancing over at Kamaris and then back to me.
"How come the other guy didn't come with you guys." She asked while moving her eggs around her plate. Kamaris glanced towards Alden, clearing his throat as he spoke.
"Dante had to stay behind to help the fire lord." He said matter of fact. She looked up, her eyes meeting Kamaris as she spoke.
"That's not where he is." She said bluntly before blinking down at her food and taking a bite.
Kamaris and Alden seemed to stiffen.
Alden looked at Kavi with a soft smile that didn't reach his eyes.
"Where is he then Kavi?" He asked curiously as I noticed Kamaris leaning in slightly, his body stiff as he gripped my thigh.
She took a bite, her eyes blinking softly as she looked up at Alden now.
"He is with the scary man." She said, causing the room to go quiet as her words echoed through me.
The scary man? Who could that be..
Just then Marcus walked into the room his voice was so loud it made me almost pump out of my skin...
"There you lot are. We are ready to get started, come on." He said excitedly as he slapped Kamaris on the back.
Looking at Kamaris his eyes were now dark as he glanced towards Alden once more, nodding tightly.
I peered into his eyes as he leaned into me, those shadows wrapping around my body protectively as he spoke.
"It's okay, make sure you don't leave Marcus's side once we get out there okay?" He stated calmly, his hands sliding up to my face as he touched me tenderly.
Kamaris leaned into me as he pressed his lips to mine, kissing me gently before pulling away and standing.
Suddenly Nati walked up to Alden reaching up on her toes as she placed a quick peck on his cheek.
He seemed shocked, his eyes blinking rapidly as she stood back.
"Good luck Alden, I will be cheering for you." She said nervously, her eyes looking down as Alden nodded, clearing his throat.
"Thank you." He spoke gently, his own cheeks growing red as he stepped aside.
"Come on Kamaris." He said quickly, walking out the door without even looking back.
Kamaris looked at me with a much happier grin on his face.
"Don't I get a kiss on the cheek too?" He asked me wryly.
I smiled brightly before standing and reaching up on my toes, kissing him tenderly.
Marcus was stifling a laugh as Kamaris pulled me back and proceeded to kiss my lips instead.
"I love you." He added quickly, causing my heart to flutter.
"I love you too..Good luck." I said with a smile and he smirked, reaching behind me and squeezing my ass, causing me to yelp.
"I think you should be telling the other guys that." He smirked while pulling away and giving me a wink.
It took everything in me not to roll my eyes as I nodded...I'm sure he is right..but he could be a little humble about it. Jeez..
"Kamaris come on." Alden shouted from the other room.
Kamarks nodded once more to Marcus and ruffled Kavi's hair on the way out.
"See you soon." He said and then left the room, his eyes meeting mine one last time as I felt a pang in my heart.
Why was it always so hard to be away from him?
Then my gaze drifted to Kavi..what she said about Dante made me feel nervous..Kamaris didn't seem too concerned though. If there was some type of threat..I have no doubt in my mind that Kamaris would act on it..so everything must be good..right?
