Something felt off. The atmosphere around me seemed thicker than usual as even the bright desert sun couldn't shake this weird sensation.
Usually being outside and breathing the fresh air was enough to put a smile on my face, but hearing Kamaris say he plans to go to the underworld scared the hell out of me.
The underworld... I mean, I've heard stories, legends, and myths back in the human realm, but to actually know it truly exists is a little overwhelming. Especially considering Kamaris plans on going there, that doesn't sit right with me.
How I'm still managing to be thrown for a loop while staying in Alysian is just as surprising for me as anyone else. I should just expect every story I've ever heard to be true.
