We walked through the cave in silence. Trying to find our way back as Kamaris let his magic show us the path. Considering our magic was kind of screwed up down here, Kamaris wasn’t able to just thin us out. Every time he tried, we ended up right back at the entrance to the underworld.
‘Are you okay?’ I whispered into our bond, our hands clasped together as we held onto one another tightly. I don’t think either of us was willing to let go.
