Home. The word seemed so different to me now. In the past, that word would make my blood turn cold. The home I grew up in back in the human realm wasn’t warm…it wasn’t loving or safe…it was just a place I slept and had a roof over my head.
So really, I never exactly knew what a real home was like…that was until I met him.
Kamaris became my home. He was the first person to ever truly feel safe. Even if it didn’t exactly start that way, I wouldn’t change a single thing about how we met. I’ve felt so lost for so damn long, like a piece of me had been missing this entire time and yet I didn’t even know it was gone to begin with.
Everything changed the day I met Kamaris in those dreams. Now here we are in Vardis, the place that will be our home…our child’s home, for the rest of eternity.
