I paced in our office while Keaton and Ollie were talking about plans for Ian’s pack. This was one of the boring parts of being an Alpha. I wanted to help them and get them settled somewhere good, but there weren’t a lot of options. Humans took over the pack lands we had been considering when we were starting our pack five years ago, and now it has become some racist commune. What a waste of a pack land.
There weren’t a lot of places that were set up for a pack, and building one from scratch would cost way too much for that little pack to afford. I wanted to go fight something or do anything, but we were stuck here waiting for the mating urge to subside.
