After Ian and Keaton left with Gino, I went to my room and started pulling out clothes. Neither of them seemed to notice the deep claw marks that had torn my clothes. As I stripped, I looked over the places where the tears had been in my clothes. Not a scratch or a bruise.
It brought back some memories of some of my first hunts. Although no one that I knew of witnessed it, there had been a few times where I was surprised to find no cuts or bruises or anything. It never occurred to me that I should have had any. I felt a little uncomfortable because of it.
How did I miss something that I was literally experiencing? What did that say about me? What else was I missing?
