The morning we were to leave for the Damson Clan’s lands, I was a bit of a mess. Livy and Oliver had moved us into a house with the kids, Jaden, Ving, Fern, and Hati. It was a fully furnished five-bedroom, so we split the kids and put the boys in one room and the girls in another. Clearly, someone had designed the rooms for us, complete with sturdy bunk beds and other practical furnishings.
The Alphas stocked the cupboards and fridge for us and there were linens, dishes, and cleaning supplies. It was nice to be back together at last after about a month of either me being gone on the hunt, or us being in different places here in Storm Moon. The first night together was perfect. Bailey and I cooked while Ving and Hati got to know the kids more. Fern and Jaden watched over all of them
