I closed the door behind me and heard Bailey lock it behind me. It shouldn’t take too long to reach an Alpha in their own pack house. Since they could contact everyone in their pack, all I had to do was find someone who could link them.
As I searched for someone, I got worried. I was away from her for too long. I wanted to find someone quickly. There was an unusual absence of people in the hallways.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity of wandering through the empty corridors, I spotted a familiar face. It was Kellan, one of the Betas of the pack. Relief washed over me as I hurried toward him.
“Kellan!” I called out, catching his attention.
He turned to face me, a look of concern on his face. I understood. He knew Bailey was considered dangerous and I should be with her.
