It’s been four days since Pearl came and accompanied me. During the hours that we allot to ensure that I am not taking a step close on to opening Alex’s door, I enjoyed every bit of activity that we’re doing. Almost as if everything has fallen into their perfect places once again—it felt as if I am having a bond with a best friend who’s been away for a long time, and she came back to spend time with me.
But still, every time I pass by his room and every night that I lay down in my bed, I always silently wish that I can pull the time so I can make it go faster. I keep on praying before I sleep, that everything he wants to do will be done rightfully so he won’t end up repeating this tormenting process of not allowing me to see him at all.
