Leon kept his mouth shut as he waited for his raging mother to calm down. This happens every day. It’s tiring. Keeping his thoughts to himself while keeping his gaze down on the floor, he closed his eyes shut when a lamp hit his head, causing him to stumble, yet quickly regained his posture while internally hissing due to the pain.
Even with the thick, dense, liquid starting to fall down from his left forehead, he remained silent, acting as if nothing fazed him despite his head throbbing like crazy due to the unexpected impact of something as heavy as a lamp. This is nothing new. He conditioned himself.
